How to create tailored LinkedIn content for employees to share from Microsoft Teams

SocialWeaver makes it easy for admins to create tailored, non-branded content for employees to share directly to their personal LinkedIn feeds — all from within Microsoft Teams.

This is perfect for thought leadership content, helping busy executives maintain an active online presence, and encouraging authentic engagement with your brand’s network.

Create a tailored post for employees

  1. Sign in to your SocialWeaver account.
  2. Click the Composer button in the top-left corner.
  3. Select any LinkedIn channel.

  1. Compose your content in the text box.

  1. Click Share to Employees to select the employee or group you want to receive this post, then click save after you make your selection.
  2. Under the Add to Library tab, in the tag selector, choose Advocacy, then click Add to Library.

This post is now available to the selected employees in Microsoft Teams under the Suggested Content tab. They can review the content, make edits, and share it to their LinkedIn feed with one click.

Edit or delete a Suggested Content post

  1. Click Publisher from the left-hand navigation.
  2. Go to Content Library and find the post you want to update.
  3. Click on the post to edit or delete it.

Edits are applied instantly, but they won’t affect employees who’ve already shared the post. Deleting a post will also not impact any shares that have already been published.

And that’s it — your tailored content is now ready for employees to share directly from Microsoft Teams. It’s a simple way to empower your team with authentic, ready-to-share posts that support your advocacy efforts.
