How to curate and amplify third-party LinkedIn content

SocialWeaver makes it easy to monitor and amplify content from public LinkedIn company pages — whether it’s a partner, customer, competitor, or any other relevant organization.

You can add these public channels to your Streams, filter their content to focus on specific topics, and then amplify posts to your employees just like you would with your own content.

Here’s how to get started:

Add a third-party LinkedIn company page

  1. Log in to your SocialWeaver account.
  2. Click on Connect Channel in the left navigation.
  3. Click on Search in Public Channels, then Search LinkedIn.
  4. Search for the company name. If the page doesn’t appear in search results, try using the vanity name from the company’s LinkedIn URL. For example, for https://www.linkedin.com/company/socialweaver, the vanity name is socialweaver.
  5. Select the channel from the results and click Save to add the channel.

You can also follow the detailed instructions here: How to add public channels.

Add the channel to a Stream

Once the public channel is added, it needs to be added to a Stream so you can view and interact with its posts.

  1. Navigate to the Streams.
  2. Click the Add Stream button then select your newly added channel and Save the Stream.
Click the Add Stream button to create a new stream using your newly added channel.

Amplify content to employees

With the company’s posts now appearing in your Stream, you can easily share them with employees or groups.

  1. Find the post you want to share in the Stream.
  2. Click the Send to Employees button below the post.
  3. Select your audience, include a Share Caption if needed, and click Share to Employees.

Filter the Stream by keyword or phrase

To zero in on specific content within a Stream, use the built-in filtering tools.

  1. At the top of the Stream, click the Filter button.
  2. Expand the Phrase filter section.
  3. Enter your filtering terms:
    1. Use quotes for an exact phrase (e.g., "annual report").
    2. Enter keywords to include (e.g., AI trends).
    3. Use a minus sign to exclude terms (e.g., -hiring).
  4. The Stream updates automatically as you type.
  5. Click outside the filter box to close it and view the filtered content.
Filter content within a Stream.

You’re now set up to discover and amplify valuable third-party LinkedIn content — all without ever leaving SocialWeaver.
